Goodness, so many!
90's indie music still takes me back to Uni. The strongest and earliest connections are Ned's Atomic Dustbin - Happy, Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit and Metallica - Enter Sandman.
All three make me think of sixth form, so I'm guessing they were out around 1992.
I have many songs from earlier than I just can't listen to as I associate them with my childhood, which wasn't particularly happy. I think the 1992 (ish) ones are so memorable as that's the time in my life when I started to feel like I had some control.
