I wasn't very familiar with the music of Glen Hansard who sadly died last week in an accident, but it seems he meant a great deal to a great many people and lived a life steeped in music and live performance.
He was connected with 'The Commitments' and led a band called 'The Frames'.
In October 2022, Hansard recorded "Take Heart", featuring Irglová, and Ukrainian refugees, in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
