Feb 10: Ticket Stub #3: REM

Today's ticket stub is actually more of a ticket itself.

This was a return to Huddersfield for me after studying at the Polytechnic for three years.
It was an open air gig in summer.

REM were supposed to be supported by Oasis, but they pulled out a week before the concert. I'd forgotten that until I looked back at the details of the concert.

Their replacements were Terrorvision, Echobelly and then the Beautiful South / Paul Heaton.

REM were good,  but not as good as on the Green tour some years earlier. 

A good set list, with 25 songs played, and good weather - a really hot day.

This added several new bands to my list of bands I'd seen.
