There are plenty of famous musicians whose graves have become a place of pilgrimage for fans.

Countryfile have provided a list of 10 sites.
When I visited Paris a couple of years ago, we visited the cemetery at Montparnasse, and there were various famous people buried there.
Dean Goodman's website provides details of some famous musicians, including Amy Winehouse.
While not a resting place, I've visited the John Lennon memorial at Strawberry Fields in Central Park.
